Hold On... Tight!

Often times we're put in situations where we wonder, 'what in the world'!
Like seriously, we feel like at one time things were moving swiftly, we were on it & things seemed to be headed in a right direction. Reminding me of a moving walkway in an airport... Helping you to get to your next gate in record time. Then, it's time to get off of that moving walkway, and you feel that gilt... Making what now seemed like gazelle-like speed, become a sudden stop, & back to normal pace.
Have you been there, or know someone who's mentioned to you that their in this situation now?
Well lately, I've been there... And I've had a few questions. They are as follows:
- Why have desires in my heart for something, when I then have to say, 'let Your will be done'? (don't get me wrong, His will is better, but in that moment, the disappointment doesn't feel so good if you don't get it).
- Why do have to chance wanting something, just to possibly receive heartache and/or disappointment when you don't receive it?
OR
- Lord, why does the process to my blessing and/or shift take so long?
Well, the crystal clear answer I received was this, "Why ask Me why? Why not just Thank Me for what I will do, whenever that may be, & what I blocked that you didn't see?!"
Touché Lord... Touché! My brothers & sisters in Christ, I had no rebuttal. And I knew not another question to ask!
So I say this to you... Sometimes, even when things are going smooth, swift & in gazelle-like speed, even though you have a hold on it (or so you think), 'Hold On... Tight! To the Lord, because I can assure you that all the questions you may have, He can answer, but why ask why?!

Mount Up!

Do you ever find yourself wondering, if it's not one thing, then it's another? Do you notice yourself having to rebuke the enemy left & right, then right & left? Are you drawing weary in faith & wondering why you're always dealing with a certain situation, and/or why it's taking God so long to show up & show out? Or, let me guess, the tricks of the enemy continue to gut punch you at the most inopportune times!?
