... Have Several Seats!

Do you find yourself going over & over in your brain, what you're going to do next? Meaning, are there situations that you're trying to handle, and right when you think that you've either manipulated the situation, and/or figured your situation out, something else brings your stride to a halt?!

I can count more times than I'd like to where I was getting in my own way. Where I was 'sabotaging' my own blessings or breakthroughs. I would try to figure out the situation, even though I didn't know everything there was to know about it. Like the inner-workings of the matter, or others that could/would be impacted. Quickly forgetting that everything & everyone around me has to be on beat with His plans!

Well when I get like this, I feel like the Lord is telling me to 'Have Several Seats'! I've ran myself rampant trying to do His work. I know you've been there, when you have a Tyler Perry, Medea moment and you want someone "to get got now". Or when the Lord isn't working fast enough for your time on a particular matter! We've all been there... And how we handle when we get there, can start to tell a lot about the faith we so called claim we have in Him.

Habakkuk 2:3 clearly states: "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie. So don't worry. Wait for it. Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.".

Friend, IT (whatever it is) will work out! Once you decide to 'Have Several Seats', make the conscientious effort to rest in Him. We're human, so we're bound to get to this point, but The Word assures us in Psalm 130:5 - "I wait for the Lord, my whole being waits, and In His Word I put my hope". And in Psalm 27:14 - "Wait for the Lord, be strong & let your heart take courage. Wait for the Lord!".

It's okay when you get in a rut of a moment... You just want to make sure you quickly realize it & don't lay in the lie of the enemy too long. The Lord is purposeful & always on time. So Have Several Seats! Trust me, you'll be glad you did, because when He reveals all He's been doing in your life, you'll be busy & He'll get the glory!
