"Shhh... I'm resting!"
Recently I was in a situation, that during the process made me so mad with myself! I mean, I knew right & well that I not only needed to take SEV-Eral seats, but I knew what it was even from a professional standpoint. Yet, I was salty! You see, the processes 'hold' status, to me felt like rejection... Failure... And defeat... As if the enemy had won. But again, I knew all too well what it really was. So eventually I humbly got on my knees & asked for His mercy, by admitting I was wrong. And then I forgave myself, so that I could move on one accord with the process.
My friend in Christ, there are times when the process calls for a hold, waiting period, intermission, or whatever you'd call it. This is the behind the scenes stage, where the Lord must (for a lack of better analogy) have us in suspense to test our faith & trust In Him. Don't get me wrong, the suspense stage is a little tricky... Because during this time your faith in Him, & all He can do, must kick in on cue! Your faith must be steadfast during this phase, because you won't understand what's going on, and you may not even see it. But just know, it's a part of the process!
T.D. Jakes once said, "there is nothing worse than dancing with someone who has no rhythm". This is so true. And the same goes for being on beat with the Lord! If you feel your pulse, there is a beat... Your heart has a beat. So therefore your process, must stay on beat with God's will (He's so intentional 💙). Soooo many things have to be in order for the next step to happen, which can therefore put you in a 'hold status'... And that's OK, because it's all still a part of the process!
So, I said all of that to end with this... He's not forgotten about you! In all reality, it's (fill in the blank with your personal circumstance) already been worked out. But when you're in your season of chaos, or moment of silence... If your currently in a hold status, or yet walking in the unfamiliar territory of the unknown... Try telling this to the enemy who is throwing doubt at you, diminishing words at you, negative thoughts in your minds, or anything trying to break down your faith. Tell him, "Shhh... I'm resting!" Because as soon as that beat drops (the beat, meaning your blessing and/or next season), you must be in rhythm with the Lord. Mainly, so that He gets the glory, & your faith makes it through your 'hold season'. But also, resting in the Lord is an important part of the process, because that's called Trust! So make sure when the Lord brings you to the breakthrough point, you'll be ready to keep up, in beat!
